I originally read and saw a picture of this car in the book on RS 200's published by unique motor books.
According to the FORD files the car was supplied to a Klaus Ludwig (German Group A Sierra driver) at the end of 1988 after a IMSA GTP drive was cancelled that he has been commissioned to drive in. The transfer seems to have been handled via FORD Germany. It was a LHD Road specification and had been a FORD demonstrator previously and had around 14,000 Km recorded when sold.
In December 2008 Jan Horalek got in touch having found a RS200 in a museum in the Cz republic, http://www.auto-muzeum.cz - He took a great image which shows it to be car #126 ! - Thanks Jan
The image with the horse has written on the back "Test by Pierre Dudonet of L'Automobile Classique" but no date is shown.
Anyone taken any other images for me ?
7th Jan 2016 - Freddy Gruson sent me this image of 126 for sale for 280,000 Euros (£209,000) - I cannot find a way of saving the images though http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/850081572.htm?ca=5_s
I believe Mark Donaldson may have helped with the sale and the car was at that point in the south of France.
If you find out anything else about this car please drop me an email and i'll update the cars entry !
