1986 : 16th - 20th November : Lombard RAC Rally

I will start this new area with one of the rallies closest to my heart as my dad used to follow this rally religiously and took me as a young child to spectate. He has passed on now so I don't know if he took me to this one, I would have been 17yrs old so I think I would have remembered.

A few years ago I bought the official programme of off eBay.

The rally ran from Sunday 16th November 1986 through till Sunday 20th and stretched from Bath to Edinburgh.

There were 4x RS200's entered, all works cars:-

Car 2 - Stig Blomqvist / Bruno Berglund in B200AYD - Chassis 065
Car 6 - Kalle Grundel / Benny Melander in B200XVX - Chassis 064
Car 12 - Mark Lovell / Roger Freeman in C200KHJ - Chassis 062
Car 18 - Stig Angervang / Dave West in C200JJN - Chassis 061

I have asked https://www.rallyretro.com if they have an image of each from this event that I can purchase to get us started.

What I can tell you are the results as our friends over at EWRC have them documented here: https://www.ewrc-results.com/final/8674 ... ally-1986/ and sadly only 1x RS200 finished the event and that was in 5th place, Car 6 - Kalle - Melander

The other 3 retired:-

SS27 Car 2 Blomqvist Stig - Berglund Bruno - Turbo

SS18 Car 18 Andervang Stig - West David - Accident Damage
