Bought at a RS car show for a £1 (result) here is a really good condition official program for the Lombard RAC rally which ran from 16th October to 20th October (the good old days my dad says!)
I guess this was the only RAC rally a RS200 did or was a car there in 1985 ? - Anyone fill in some gaps ?
In the list of entrants, page 35, there are 4 x RS200's listed in group B12 as:-
Car 2 - Stig Blomqvist/Bruno Bergland
Car 6 - Kalle Grundel/Benny Melander
Car 12 - Mark Lovell/Roger Freeman
Car 18 - Stig Andrevan/ <blank>

You're quite right,1986 was the only year the RS200 competed in the Lombard RAC Rally. It was homologated into Group B just too late for the 1985 event and made it's international debut on the '86 Swedish Rally.
You sure picked up a bargain with that rally programme...what a good find! I'll have a look through my old rally programmes and see if I can find any RS200 references or articles.
