Access to fuel tanks, Engine out?

No, pretty sure you can drop them out from underneath.
You will see the two cover panels when you look under the car, they have a load of countersunk hex bolts holding them in. (Screwfix sell new stainless replacements by the bag load !)
I took mine off to repaint and there the tanks were looking at me.
There is an interconnecting pipe between the two that you will have to do something with - never tried but pretty sure it's not an engine out job unless someone here has tried ????

I've pulled my bag tanks out with the engine in the car. It's dead easy...except for the upper crossover that is a REAL pain in the ass to get to. You have to first remove the cover and then get to the hose clamps which were pointed in different directions on my car. It's a pain, but it can be done.
