I did ask this question a while back and i cant remember (must be getting old ) who recommended what, so will ask again
Looking to flush and replace the coolant in my standard 1.8, i decided to use Comma Super Coldmaster (blue) about 2 years ago mainly because i was unsure whether the new OAT stuff was too advanced with all the additives now used for modern engines and the Comma gear seemed the safe option as it was around in the 80's
Is the Comma stuff the best for the engine and would anyone reccommend anything else, like the longlife red/pink like Mobil Antifreeze advanced OAT which contains Glysantin Alu Protect Premium G30 from BASF, all sounds great i know but is it suitable for a 1980's engine, any advice from current owners would be much apreciated, you can also pm if you prefer, cheers claudio
