Wanted RS200 must be RHD must be an original car and not a made up car from bits.
Not really interested in a hugely high performance car as too much maintenance and expense involved and will be too expensive for me anyway.
Dont mind if a little work required.
£50k tops. No hassle

don't mean to be funny but £50k isn't gonna buy an RS200. Not one thats original and in good working order at least. My first Subaru based replica sold for over £30k.

I had been offered two in the last three months. I had an advert on pistonheads for exactly that amount but one was a L/h drive with some performance mods and the other had been converted to r/h drive, so I dont agree with you. They are there
and I have £50k to hand over immediately. If you got £30k for a replica you did very well indeed. I am in the retail trade and it looks like next year aint goona be good, so will see what comes along.
Thank you though for your comments.

Maybe if its a very high mileage tatty car, you could probably get it for 50k. However you would need to be prepared to add another 20k just to bring it up to speed probably. Just my opinion..... It helps that I recently bought one and had been looking for about a year so I have some idea.

Thanks for your constructive comments. I dont mind work as long as the car is correct to begin with , most cars that havent been used will need work to get them going also

Hey guys lets be constructive here,we should encourage guys to take on project cars ,we cannot afford to loose cars
If you find any £50,000 cars that are not what you want, could you let me know as i need a couple more for rally cars,i would of course pay a finders fee

That as you probably know and intimated will be me, however, we all have our own personal opinions.
I have a useable x show winning car that is in pristine condition with various factory upgrades and in my opinion it is worth 100k (currently agreed value insurance £125k)
You may get lucky and find a distressed sale, but even then a good condition car imo would still fetch in excess of 50k.
You obviously took offence in my post, nothing personal just my opinion.
