I presume it was one of the prototype cars in the development days of the 200.

Although not 100% confirmed, this is very likely to be car 063 so in fact not a prototype at all:

The video is sadly very well known to any RS200 enthusiast, the story is explained well in the youtube synopsis.

I think I have a photo somewhere from an old magazine showing the car before the Hessen rally. I'll try to scan it and put it up when I get a chance.

Here are the two images I had of C200KWC being driven by Marc Surer... Sorry for the poor quality, the original being from a very old magazine and of relatively small size...
