Ouch that's never nice when such things happen, particularly to a rare car and someone as nice as Pat. Good to know he is well and that the car will be repaired... The flames do look very dramatic but the way the car looks once the rear clam is removed and the fire is out does not look too bad.

That is going to be one great event !!! I so wish I could have made it but unfortunately I'm already tied up at an event in Belgium... Please take lots of pics...

According to an article on Pistonheads today, Jaguar will build 6 more new E-types to complete a series of 12 that was never made: http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=29990 And this had me thinking... Maybe Ford should build another 40-odd RS200's and assign them the chassis numbers ...

Hi there.

TAC rally in Belgium next week should have at least one RS200.

For the rest of 2014 it may be still a bit too early though the best shot at seeing one (or more hopefully) will be at Eifel Rallye Festival in July (Germany).

I will try to post here additional information when I have it.

I had not seen that interview... He mentions the RS200 but too bad he does not go into more detail. As you said the trail has gone cold since it's been allegedly shipped to the US. I wonder also how he is going to make the build job while in the US with all the expertise over in the UK as I'd be sur...
